Audubon Day Program
What is the Audubon Day Program?
Caring for an aging loved one can be challenging, especially when they need more engagement, support, and supervision during the day. The Audubon Day Program is an adult day care program that offers a warm, welcoming environment where seniors can socialize, participate in enriching activities, and receive compassionate care—all in a home-like setting—for a half day or a full day.
Unlike other senior day programs, we provide personalized attention in an intimate, small-group setting—never a large, overwhelming facility. Whether your loved one needs companionship, structured activities, or assistance throughout the day, our highly trained caregivers and licensed therapists ensure they feel safe, valued, and engaged.

📞 Step 1: Contact Us To Discuss Your Loved Ones’ Needs
Every senior is unique, and so are their care needs. Whether your loved one is looking for companionship, engaging activities, or extra support during the day, we’re here to help.
When you reach out to us, we’ll take the time to listen, understand your situation, and answer all your questions. We’ll discuss how the Audubon Day Program can provide the perfect balance of care, socialization, and structure—all in a warm, home-like setting.
No pressure, no commitment—just a conversation to see if we’re the right fit for your family.
Two Options:
Full Day – 8am to 7pm
Half Day – 8am to 1pm
🩺 Step 2: In-Person Assessment – Ensuring the Best Fit
Before joining the Audubon Day Program, we’ll do a quick, in-person assessment to ensure your loved one is a great fit for our community. This is a friendly meeting where we can get to know them, understand their needs, and make sure we can provide the right level of care and support.
During the assessment, we’ll:
Discuss their daily routine, mobility, and any special care needs.
Learn about their interests and preferences to make their experience enjoyable.
Answer any questions to help your family feel confident in your decision.
Our goal is to make this process simple, welcoming, and stress-free.
🎉 Step 3: Join the Family!
Once your loved one is all set, it’s time to experience the warmth, care, and connection of the Audubon Day Program! From the moment they arrive, they’ll be welcomed with open arms by our compassionate team and a community of friendly faces.
Each day is filled with engaging activities, social interaction, and personalized care—all in a safe, home-like setting where they can truly thrive.
Whether they’re here for a few days a week or every day, they’ll quickly feel like part of the family.
Benefits of the Program
-
A More Affordable Solution
Caring for a loved one full-time can be emotionally and financially overwhelming. Hiring an in-home caregiver for even a few hours a day adds up quickly, and big-box facilities charge thousands per month—even if your loved one doesn’t need 24/7 care. The Audubon Day Program provides an affordable, high-quality alternative, offering professional care, engaging activities, and socialization for a fraction of the cost of full-time assisted living or home care.
-
Try Before You Buy – A Low-Pressure Way to Get Comfortable
We understand that moving into assisted living is a big decision. That’s why the Audubon Day Program is the perfect way to ease into it. Your loved one can spend time in our homes, meet our caregivers, and experience the warm, personalized care we provide—without making a full-time commitment. This helps families and seniors build confidence and trust before making a long-term decision.
-
Engaging Activities – More Than Just Keeping Busy
At Audubon, we believe that stimulation and social interaction are just as important as physical care. That’s why our day program includes a structured activity schedule featuring music therapy, games, creative arts, movement sessions, and memory-enhancing activities designed to keep seniors engaged, happy, and thriving.
-
Safe & Comfortable Environment – A Home, Not a Facility
Unlike traditional senior centers or day programs held in sterile, institutional settings, Audubon provides a warm, inviting atmosphere that truly feels like home. Your loved one will spend the day in a real home, with comfortable seating, a welcoming kitchen, and outdoor spaces to enjoy.
-
Social Connection – Friendship, Laughter & Meaningful Moments
Seniors who spend too much time alone can experience loneliness, depression, and cognitive decline. Our program fosters genuine connections with peers and caregivers, helping participants build friendships, share meals, and enjoy laughter-filled activities that improve overall well-being. -
Expert Care & Supervision – Compassionate, Professional Support
Not all adult day programs are created equal. At Audubon, our highly trained staff provides gentle, attentive care throughout the day, ensuring your loved one is safe, comfortable, and engaged. Whether they need medication reminders, mobility assistance, or just a little extra encouragement, we’re here to help.
